Simply put, these guys can flat out play. Friday, June 21 BUMPER JACKSONS The Bumper Jacksons are a big, fat party. Hot and sweet, their trad jazz and pre-war country repertoire paint's America's story from New Orleans' brothels to Appalachian hollers. Unafraid to scrap together new sounds from forgotten 78's, the Bumper Jacksons boldly and elegantly balance paying homage to the traditions while fashioning their own unique style. Guitar, Vocals, Clarinet, Lap Steel, Washboard and a little Fiddle. Unique!!! Saturday, June 22 The Problematics The Problematics are the dynamic duo of Lorraine and Mike Messitt, who perform a wide variety of popular music from 1950s love songs to 60′s British invasion, traditional Celtic to R&B hits. They play concerts, pubs and private events with equal flair, engaging and entertaining audiences and ensuring a highly memorable, original experience. Lorraine’s theatre background and years honing her skills as a musician and singer in numerous blues, bluegrass, swing and Cajun bands blends effortlessly and joyfully with the solid, understated instrumental and vocal skills of partner Michael Messitt, a 25-year+ veteran of traditional and folk-rock bands. Friday, June 28 NOTHIN’ BUT TROUBLE The Baltimore Blues Society chose NOTHIN' BUT TROUBLE to represent Charm City at the 2012 International Blues Challenge on Saturday October 27th, 2012. This is a statement of how good the band performs. The show persents a guitar-driven, full-harmony sound that is the trademark of an NBT live show. Be prepared to dance. The big muddy Mississippi and the dark waters of the bayou flow through the heart and soul of this band. Alot of people assume that members of New Pony are a group of transplants from New Orleans because of the way these guys tear into vintage New Orleans funk. But the truth is that New Pony is home-grown from Philadelphia and will be perfoming this gig with a full horn section. Not to be missed.

Lorraine’s theatre background and years honing her skills as a musician and singer in numerous blues, bluegrass, swing and Cajun bands blends effortlessly and joyfully with the solid, understated instrumental and vocal skills of partner Michael Messitt, a 25-year+ veteran of traditional and folk-rock bands. NOTHIN' BUT TROUBLE is comprised of former members of the Platters, Coasters, Drifters, Bill Kirchen's Band, and the Chubby Checker band and have opened for talents Johnny Winter, Bernard Purdie, and John Lee Hooker to name a few. This is a “good time” band.

Hot and sweet, their trad jazz and pre-war country repertoire paint's America's story from New Orleans' brothels to Appalachian hollers. Unafraid to scrap together new sounds from forgotten 78's, the Bumper Jacksons boldly and elegantly balance paying homage to the traditions while fashioning their own unique style. Guitar, Vocals, Clarinet, Lap Steel, Washboard and a little Fiddle. Unique!!! Saturday, June 22 The Problematics The Problematics are the dynamic duo of Lorraine and Mike Messitt, who perform a wide variety of popular music from 1950s love songs to 60′s British invasion, traditional Celtic to R&B hits. They play concerts, pubs and private events with equal flair, engaging and entertaining audiences and ensuring a highly memorable, original experience. Lorraine’s theatre background and years honing her skills as a musician and singer in numerous blues, bluegrass, swing and Cajun bands blends effortlessly and joyfully with the solid, understated instrumental and vocal skills of partner Michael Messitt, a 25-year+ veteran of traditional and folk-rock bands. Friday, June 28 NOTHIN’ BUT TROUBLE The Baltimore Blues Society chose NOTHIN' BUT TROUBLE to represent Charm City at the 2012 International Blues Challenge on Saturday October 27th, 2012. This is a statement of how good the band performs. The show persents a guitar-driven, full-harmony sound that is the trademark of an NBT live show. Be prepared to dance.
